When it comes to organizing your kitchen, there are two ways to organize. Empty the entire space, or use the drawer-by-drawer method. Today, I am breaking down how you can use the drawer-by-drawer method to declutter your kitchen if taking everything out of a room makes you feel overwhelmed.

Show Notes
Kitchen organizing is a big topic, so today, we are only talking about the drawer-by-drawer method. This is an easy way to go through your kitchen without taking everything out all at once!
For this process, you will go through one drawer or one cabinet at a time. Take everything out of that one space, declutter the stuff that doesn’t belong, and then put everything that does belong back! Do you have something that you use elsewhere in your house? Take it out of the kitchen to help keep the space more organized.
You need to take inventory and label the cabinet or drawer you are working with. Post-it notes work great for this step! Make sure to try and stick to one category per cabinet or drawer. As you go through drawers and cabinets, you may find items in your kitchen that should be organized in the same space instead of stored throughout the kitchen.
Taking inventory is the biggest piece of the drawer-by-drawer method. Use this method if trying to organize your entire kitchen at once is too overwhelming.
